From diagnosis to rediscovering my passion
I grew up loving to bake and share sweet gift baskets with family and friends. But after being misdiagnosed as lactose intolerant as a child, I kept getting sicker until I finally received a celiac disease diagnosis at age 35. Having never even heard of gluten or celiac disease, I gradually stopped baking and eating the things I loved. Disheartened by years of dry, crumbly, and tasteless store-bought options, I eventually took matters into my own hands to bring delicious, moist baked goods back into my life.

When I started testing recipes again, I shared cookies, brownies, and cake pops without telling anyone they were gluten free. Nobody could tell the difference! Friends and family raved about how rich and flavorful every bite was. Bake after bake, their enthusiastic encouragement inspired me to launch our cottage bakery in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Our treats are crafted with premium ingredients so that everyone, whether managing celiac disease or just craving dessert, can indulge together.
